Martha Soto Raised in a family of artistsans and potters, Martha finds her artistic inspiration in the world around her.  Her work in silver explores both wearable and functional forms that are motivated by a variety of cultural, natural and everyday influences.  Her works turn nature into wearable art.    As a child,  she began collecting quartz rocks because she thought they were diamonds.  She crafted her first ring at nine and sold her first fabricated metal piece in her teens.  Today, her Illia Collection embodies the essence of her work creating an opportunity to connect emotionally and spiritually through the transformation of metal.    Martha Soto brings this connection to her students by passing on the art of lost wax casting to future generations.  Contact the artist at martha@jewelrybysoto.com.
